Geschichte

The Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) is a global, multi-stakeholder membership and partnership organization that works with poor people, their organizations, governments and small-scale entrepreneurs to improve sanitation and hygiene at scale.

Founded in 1990, we maintain a membership of 3,600 water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) professionals from 141 countries.

We believe that sanitation and hygiene coverage is a universal right; that people and communities are catalysts of change and that the impact of appropriate sanitation and hygiene will positively benefit peoples' health, dignity, security, livelihoods and economic action.
