The United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) system is a part of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The UNDAC network brings together over 700 individuals working in the field of humanitarian action and disaster management. This represents a remarkable wealth of expertise making the UNDAC system the largest centre of competence in this field. This knowledge is worth spreading and, to do so, ESB’s Field Coordination Support Section (FCSS) is launching the UNDAC Talks. This new initiative aims to harvest and share this expertise with the UNDAC community and beyond.

Inspired by the success of the TED Talks, a series of webinars will be set up featuring the wisdom and knowledge of experts drawn from the UNDAC network. Over the last 20 years, the UNDAC community has led the development of methodologies and training in post disaster response management and such webinars will further help share our collective knowledge and expertise in an efficient and effective way.

The webinars will be open to all our partners and invitations will be shared on this page!
