Geschichte

ShARE is an international student think-tank. A multicultural, non-profit organization for students which strive to better understand the complexities of local socio-economic issues through presentations, conferences and projects.

ShARE's first team was created in Shanghai in November 2002. Today, more than 600 members in Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Seoul, New Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Ahmedabad, Roorkee, Bangalore, Lahore, Jakarta, Kathmandu, Kampala, Dhaka, Sao Paulo, Istanbul, Lausanne, Porto, Warsaw and Paris gather regularly to discuss economic and social issues in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America.

With the emergence of a global knowledge and information society, ShAREs vision is to generate, share and use knowledge to contribute a regions’ human, social and economic development.

This is the page of the ShARE team at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. At ShARE EPFL we have three Knowledge Networks: Energy, Finance and ICT & Innovation. However, depending on the composition, the capabilities and the desire of the members, new networks might be considered.
