Entry to the restaurant poorly decorated -seems like one is entering to a sordid place. Only two couples, rest of the restaurant was empty. Food brought very quickly. Food was just ok. No music, no atmosphere at all. Was a warm night and windows were closed (only opened after I asked for). Not coming back and not suggesting anyone. Owners could make a great place out of this restaurant.

Most of the reviews I read here are at least 2 months old. I visited the place yesterday and here I had a very bad experience. The restaurant was empty so it wasn't peak time. We order our meal and the person serving us was very arrogant. He literally snatched the menu from me and dashed it on the other pile of menu angrily.. not once but twice. He misunderstood us and packed our food to go, despite of us telling him that we want to eat there. when we confronted he looked disappointed and went it and brought us two plates. I personally love Chinese food and it was cold that evening I went there to have good soup. But I expected too much from the place I guess. The taste of the food was not good too. I still don't know why people have appreciated this place so much. I won't be going back there!

"Hidden Gem". The quality of food, service, price, AUTHENTICITY and atmosphere is the best you can find in Lugano. Compared to other cuisines in Lugano the food here is better than most if not all general food in the area. With that being said, there definitely isn't a better Chinese restaurant in Lugano. Here you can always find a private setting. Everyone one falls victim to the wine bars and pizzeria's downstairs in the square, trust me, I've tried them all too, but no one ever knows what's hidden upstairs. To credit my taste buds I've been to plenty of Michelin star restaurants, including Chinese, and this gem in little old Lugano certainly deserves more notice. On another note, this woman Neha below my comment surely doesn't know what she wanted to eat that day or came too late that's why they probably packed her food up to send her on her way. I would like to offer you Neha,  a free dinner on me just to prove your experience is nothing like all the great times I've had here.
