Geschichte

The Fair Future Foundation, a Swiss State Approved Foundation, recognized of Pure Public Utility in Switzerland, was established by Alex Wettstein in early 2006. He has been working in a medical team for NGOs, since 2006 over Asia. This experience paved the way to his life’s purpose and his current full-time dedication to provide free healthcare to the needy. More than a dream, this concept is now becoming a reality.
Of course, he couldn’t have done it alone, he needed help, medical staff, material and financing and a great deal of wonderful people committed to this cause. All this led him to create the Fair Future Foundation : Free Health and Medical Care for people in need. Since early 2011, the Fair Future Foundation in collaboration with local partners care and treat tens of thousands poor, sick, disabled, disadvantaged human beings per year, without consideration of race, religion, origin, age, colours. The Foundation also aims to improve the daily life of the local community in suffering, whether they are affected by a situation of social vulnerability, emotional or medical, or suffering from disability.

The Foundation is chaired by Alexandre Wettstein and its Foundation Board is composed of five volunteer members, all from Switzerland.

Early 2011, the Fair Future Foundation has chosen to structure and develop its actions of solidarity and philanthropy, by creating an Indonesian foundation whose purposes are identical, the Bali Sari Foundation. It’s Foundation Board is composed of five members, all from Indonesia. The Indonesian foundation is also recognised of Pure Public Utility by the Indonesian Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Jakarta.

The Bali Sari Foundation employs local youth beneficiaries, mainly from disadvantaged areas. The medical staff in charge of the medical centers of the foundation -doctors, nurses and pharmacists- are all from Indonesia.

Today, the Fair Future Foundation develops major projects related to access to free medical care, our new paediatric center is being created to treat thousands of children, but also to provide needy people with free medical care. This engagement is financed by the Fair Warung Balé, by individual and institutional donations, of which 98% flows are directly used in favour of the people in need.
