Cool Cottage is a little shop in the garden of my farmhouse where I sell unique, handmade and exclusive items from South Africa, Holland and Denmark. Open by appointment.

Do you like to have warm and dry feet and in the meantime looking stunning and elegant as well? Then you should try BOKKIES Boots. They are handmade from animal hide and lined with sheepskin and sheep napa. The boots are water resistant and you can wear them easily in the snow and the rain. Your feet will stay warm and dry! When they get dirty you just use a brush to clean them, that's all! Besides boots, we have beautiful bags and belts, all unique, exclusive and handmade from the finest leather and Springbok and cowhides. Bokkies are unique and exclusively available at Cool Cottage, the only Bokkies distributor outside South Africa in the world. When you buy a Bokkies Bag, Boots or Belt you support whole families in South Africa, because for every Bokkies item sold, part of the revenue is donated extra to the people who make the beautiful Bokkies by hand.

We also sell the Dutch CHALLIMAR knitwear: trendy and exclusive Cardigans, Shawls and Sweaters of a beautiful quality, made from cotton with angora and suede fringes. Challimar is one of the most sought after brands in the Netherlands. Celebrities are spotted wearing them and well known magazines put the designs on the ‘must have’ lists.

New in the collection are VAN BELLE earrings made of gold or silver with half gemstones like amethyst, onyx, labradorite, smokey quartz, jade and white agate
