Pilates studio based in Basel, Switzerland providing indoor exercise classes in a well equipped environment.
I help men and women of all ages by supporting and working with you to get the most out of Pilates sessions. I offer private, duo and small group Pilates based exercise sessions in a warm, friendly, positive and supportive environment. My sessions are held in Basel, Switzerland.
I work with you to obtain your goals whether you are recovering from injury, training for a sport or high performance activity, wanting to exercise at the correct level through or after pregnancy, or wishing to prevent back ache.
The Pilates sessions I offer are focused and targeted to meet your needs and your goals. I aim to always create a warm, friendly, non-threatening environment where you can fully focus and concentrate.
Your sessions will be progressive, varied and positive. Whilst I mostly use the large and well balanced repertoire of Pilates exercises, where appropriate I may also offer you Redcord or ballet exercises as part of your training in order to gain optimum results and success.
I trained as a professional dancer in the 1980s, and Pilates was part of my own training, since then I have taught exercise, presented at international exercise conferences, trained exercise teachers, examined, and even written teacher training syllabus. My special areas of interest are healthy backs, exercise in pregnancy, and exercise to support high performance.
Sessions are normally taught in English, however I am committed to learning German, and also speak a little Spanish and French.
You can find out more by visiting my website www.baselpilates.ch or message me to book a session. I would love to work with you.
