World OCR, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d'Obstacles (FISO), is the world governing body for obstacle sports, obstacle course racing (OCR) and related disciplines. ​We are a not for profit organization and do not pursue any objectives for our own gains.

Services

The World OCR facilitates safety, fairness and opportunities for athletes to compete at every level. This includes international results and rankings, officials, training, rule enforcement, insurance services, coaching, training camps, event information, event services, news, education, adjudication and more.

Who We Are

The World OCR (FISO) is a not-for-profit independent international organisation made up of volunteers to represent the needs of the athletes. The President presides over all its activities, while the FISO Congress and Executive Board are responsible for taking the main decisions for the organisation. Member national federations represent the athletes in the FISO Congress and propose and vote on policies and rules for their benefit.

"World Obstacle, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles FISO is the international governing body for obstacle sports and related disciplines, representing the needs Adventure Racers, Ninja Athletes and Obstacle Course Racers worldwide. It is an independent association composed of national member federations and their athletes in over 100 countries. World Obstacle was founded in 2014 and was formalized Lausanne, Switzerland in 2018. It was granted GASIF Observer Status in 2021, in recognition of the growth of obstacle sports worldwide and World Obstacle’s efforts to promote the sports, it’s member federations and athletes."
