Current demographic trends mean an ever-increasing number of patients with vessel diseases including circulatory disorders of the legs, narrowing of the carotid artery, enlargement of the aorta and diseases of the veins, such as the varicose veins. Thanks to a combination of knowledge, training and experience, vascular diseases can now be treated very effectively by open and endovascular procedures. The VASCULAR INTERNATIONAL Foundation and School aims to teach vascular surgical skills to the highest quality, thus allowing the use of modern technology for invasive vascular procedures for the benefit of the individual patient.
