"The Secret of Childhood Montessori School is a bilingual English/French Montessori school for children aged 3-6 years. It is open from 8 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday. The Montessori programme goes from 8 am to 3:30 pm. After that, we offer an after-school workshop until 6:30 pm. We have two classrooms, one that is 180 sq m and one that is 100 sq m. The big classroom is full for the 2018-19 school year, but we still have vacancies in the smaller classroom. In order to obtain more detailed information, such as tuition fees and enrolment procedure, please send an email to [email protected]. You are of course welcome to come and visit the school. Write to the email address above in order to set up an appointment."

Der Rat, den ich geben kann, ist, sich umzusehen und mehr herauszufinden, es wird andere gute Montessori-Schulen geben, und es wird andere gute Schulen geben, in denen es bessere Lehrer und bessere Manager gibt. Viel Glück an alle. Und wir konnten die Wohnung bekommen, die wir wollten. Ich denke, diese Einstellung sagt viel über die Schule und ihren Wunsch aus, Familien in jeder Hinsicht zu unterstützen. But I want to notice that the management of this school was very nice to our family, they even supported our application for the apartment. And we were able to get the apartment we wanted. I think such attitude is saying a lot about the school and their desire to support families in every aspect.

Obwohl sie bei der Ankunft nicht viel Französisch verstanden haben, passten sie sich sofort an, und nur wenige Monate später können sie viel verstehen und sprechen natürlich ist der Unterricht zweisprachig, so dass sie bei Bedarf viel Unterstützung auf Englisch hatten. Ich kann diese Schule internationalen Schülern und ehrlich gesagt auch Schweizern oder Franzosen nur wärmstens empfehlen!  Original We moved from the US to Nyon after the start of the school year and were really worried about finding the right school for our kids. I contacted The Secret of Childhood and immediately received a response and an invitation to visit the school with my kids. After visiting and learning about the Montessori method, we knew this was the right school for them and enrolled them immediately. They LOVE the school, their teachers, and the other students. Even though they did not understand much French upon arrival they fit in right away, and only a few months later they can understand and speak a lot of course the instruction is bilingual, so they had plenty of support in English when necessary. I highly recommend this school for international students and, frankly, for Swiss or French students as well!
