EASA/ FAA Pilot medical checking centre in southern Switzerland
Dr Meile is entitled by the authorities of EASA and FAA to perform medical checks and issue a medical license for all class of pilots.
Regarding EASA regulations, the initial medical checks class 1 pilots always has to be performed in the AMC of issuing license country, and therefore cannot be undertaken in Melide.
Regarding FAA regulations, the initial medical checks class 1/2/3 pilots can be preformed in Melide.
To obtain or retain a valid licence to fly it is essential that you meet pilot medical standards.
It is one of the requirements of the FOCA+ EASA to keep you and the public safe.
It is necessary to hold a valid medical certificate before you can be granted a Commercial, Multi-Crew or ATPL licence.
