St. Moritz Award 2011

Following its successful launch in March 2010, the St. Moritz Award is to be presented for the second time in St. Moritz from 18 to 20 March 2011. Now with a more elaborate surrounding programme, the event has been extended from two to three days. A celebrity ski race on the Corviglia will open the St. Moritz Award 2011 on Friday, 18 March. Former and current big names from ski racing will join in a friendly race with award winners, Honour Committee members, VIP guests, partners and sponsors of the St. Moritz Award. The public can watch the race live on the spot. The St. Moritz Award has thus become a multi-day event which rekindles the spirit of St. Moritz.
On Saturday, 19 March 2011, the St. Moritz Award prizes will be presented at a celebratory gala evening in Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. Around 300 international guests are expected. As an award winner and guest star, José Carreras will be one of the evening’s highlights.
