Srilanka cultural & Asian Food festival , Switzerland

Geschichte

This is an annual event organized by the Consul General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Zurich to promote Sri Lankan Cultural and trade affairs in Switzerland among Sri Lankans living in Switzerland and Swiss Nationals. There are as many as 35,000 Sri Lankan Families living in Switzerland and most of them are participating in this event either as sponsors, trade stallers or visitors. This event is open to Swiss nationals and even promoted in all parts of Switzerland in various media in order to attract many and important people.
This event is a very good platform for Sri Lankan Business Entities to expand their Marketing activities in Switzerland and many business leaders in Switzerland are also invited to the festival. Switzerland is becoming a TEA Consume country and this event can be a very good entry point for many Sri Lankan Tea Exporters as well. Another important platform is promoting Sri Lankan Tourism and many Swiss Nationals have started in visiting Asia and Sri Lanka during past few years. It is important to market to promote Sri Lankan GEMS as well and GEMS are very popular among Swiss nationals
We use this Festival to promote Sri Lankan Culture and Food and Sri Lankan entrepreneurs may get the benefit to promote their food items in Switzerland and even neighboring countries. There are many Sri Lankans living in Switzerland and Sri Lankan Food items can be introduced and will be mutually beneficial for Sri Lankan business entities and expats as well.
