Ski Service, one of Verbier’s leading ski and snowboard shops, has just opened a store on the mountain: Ski Service Les Ruinettes.

Situated at the Les Ruinettes lift station, under Le Mouton Noir, this new and fully functioning ski store is a Verbier first. Offering everything from equipment rental and ski storage, to repairs, services, accessories and more.

Add to that their online booking service for your ski and equipment rental - with the option to pick them up in-store - and you start get an idea of what’s on offer.

Meaning you'll spend more time doing what you came here to do, to ski.

… Well, that and the après-ski.


Here’s a closer look at what we’ve got.

SKI HIRE*: Just because you came up without skis doesn’t mean you can’t ski back down. At Ski Service Les Ruinettes you can rent skis and equipment directly on the mountain and even drop them off there or back in Verbier when you’re done.

We’ve also updated our ONLINE RENTAL* so your skis and equipment can be collected directly from Les Ruinettes when you arrive. Don’t forget that there’s also a minimum 15% discount for all online rentals.

The other convenience with our mountain-top shop is that, if you don’t like your skis, or just fancy a change, you don’t have to go back down to Verbier to do so. With SWAP & CHANGE* we offer immediate and unlimited equipment changes, so maybe you’ll end up snowboarding down after all.

With a full selection of skis to buy, including a wide selection from Verbier-based ski manufacturer FACTION*, our SKI TEST** option allows you to try any number of skis before you buy them in order to make sure they’re just right for you. The WARREN SMITH BIOMECHANICS LAB can help you iron out and fine tune your equipment and technique too.

The Les Ruinettes store also offers secure onsite STORAGE* facilities, so you can leave your equipment there overnight, with your boots on the heaters, then pick them up again for the next day’s skiing.

There’s also a fully functioning SERVICES* and REPAIRS* workshop, so if you need anything fixed or even just some fresh wax, drop your stuff off and we’ll do it for you while you have a coffee upstairs or overnight ready for you to collect in the morning.

We’ve also got some comfortable sofas, screens playing ski films and enough energy snacks to fuel an army, so whilst that dense fog passes, why not use Ski Service Les Ruinettes as a MEETING POINT. You can also pass time time checking out all our SKI ACCESSORIES, BOOKING ski lessons, paragliding or other mountains activities, or just cruising the internet on our FREE WIFI. Yep, free WiFi.
