It is located on a terrace on the right valley side at the entrance to the Prättigau valley. It consists of the village of Seewis im Prättigau and the sections of Schmitten-Pardisla and the Seewis-Valzeina train station on the valley floor. Until 1961 Seewis im Prättigau was known as Seewis im Prätigau.DemographicsSeewis im Prättigau has a population of., 10.7% of the population was made up of foreign nationals.
