Schötz is a municipality in the district of Willisau in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipality of Ohmstal merged into the municipality of Schötz.GeographySchötz has an area, of. Of the rest of the land, 10.9% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.9%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains)., 17.87% of the total land area was forested. The next three most popular parties were the SVP (23.9%), the FDP (20.5%) and the Green Party (6.1%).
