Rebstein is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Rheintal in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.HistoryRebstein is first mentioned in 1270 as Rebistain.GeographyRebstein has an area, of 4.3km2. Over the last 10 years the population has grown at a rate of 7.5%. Most of the population speaks German (85.5%), with Albanian being second most common ( 6.0%) and Italian being third ( 1.7%). Of the Swiss national languages, 3,466 speak German, 7 people speak French, 70 people speak Italian, and 5 people speak Romansh.
