Studio philosophy:

Maur, Switzerland is home to the legendary Powerplay Studios. We offer the best possible environment for your production. Situated next to a pictures lake, we still only 20 minutes from Zurich international airport and 15 minutes from the city. For us it’s important that you feel comfortable to explore your creative potential. High quality analog equipment combined with the speed of digital workflow is all at your fingertips.
Powerplay is a full service recording facility with 5 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, shower facilities and 4 recording studios.
Our clients include Europe, Gianna Nannini, Keith Jarrett, Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Wu-Tang Clan, Yello and many more.

Room for productivity:

Nowhere else in Switzerland will you find such a wide range of vintage/modern instruments and analog equipment. Over 30 vintage guitars, many amps, keys and a noteworthy collection of microphones are at your disposal. Let this vibe become part of your production. If your session takes a little longer, take advantage of our in-house bedrooms. Our ready-for-use kitchen and large living room offers a lot of space for creative breaks. A quick walk along the lake might give you that illusive inspirational spark!
