Monti Motti is located 1062m a.s.l and offers beautiful nature landscapes over Lake Maggiore, the Versasca Valley and surrounding towns. It is also very popular for its hiking / mountain biking trails. Perfect location for a quiet relaxing getaway in the mountains.
Our wholehearted staff creates a real rustic atmosphere full of laughter. You can enjoy a delicious meal and relax by the terrace while your children play in the play park just across the street. Monti Motti is a wonderful place for families since children can run around safely and make new friends since there are no traffic.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and offers a real Grotto atmosphere. When all rooms are booked, it can get a bit noisy since the walls are thin. This year we added a new bathroom, so now there are two shared bathrooms. All rooms offers free modern towels and linen. We offer free Wi-Fi in all rooms, but at times are interrupted by bad weather. A modest breakfast is served every morning. Free parking available on site.
To reach Monti Motti you need a car since no public transport is available. Taxi service and helicopters can be organized. The road up the mountain is like no other. It is about 11km long, mostly a one lane path snaking steeple up the mountain. It’s a thrilling adventurous ride not for the fain-hearted, but overall the road is actually safe if one is careful. The road is under construction at this point and by the end of August 2015, the most upper part of the road will be completely renewed.
