Observatorium Davos PMOD and World Radiation Center WRC

Geschichte

The "Physikalisch-Meteorologisches Observatorium Davos und Weltstrahlungszentrum", or "PMOD/WRC" for short, a privately operated research institute located in Davos, Switzerland. Our research objectives include solar radiation measurements as well as investigating the sun's influence on our climate and the atmosphere.
As for our role as World Radiation Center (WRC), we perform radiometer calibrations for customers worldwide. Every five years, the International Pyrheliometer Comparisons (IPC) are held at our institute.
Our technical department manufactures scientific instruments for sale to both governmental and private customers.
