Oberbüren is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Wil in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.HistoryOberbüren is first mentioned in 817 as ad Purias.GeographyOberbüren has an area, of 17.8km2. Of this area, 65.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 20.3% is forested.
