Nunningen is a municipality in the district of Thierstein in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland.HistoryNunningen is first mentioned in 1152 as Nunningen.GeographyNunningen has an area, of 10.34km2. Of the agricultural land, 5.5% is used for growing crops and 33.9% is pastures, while 1.6% is used for orchards or vine crops.The municipality is located in the Thierstein district.
