This is the anchor tenant in Balexrt mall. Your can find virtually anything in this supermarket from vegetables to high end electronics. They have recently opened a kiddies supermarket which I found very cool.

This is the Migros supermarket in Geneva, which is located at the Balexert Shopping Mall. This is the only super market in the mall and has a wider range of products from fruits, food, clothes and most other day to day used articles at home (electronics, stationery). The tram 18 & 14 will get you there from Gare and Bus 3. Make sure you are travelling in the right direction towards Balexert. If you are tourist or new in Geneva, make sure to buy a ticket before boarding, they is always support check once in a while so don’t take any chances with embarrassment and the payment of 120CHF as fine.

The place for a break and a meal in the self service restaurant at the Balaxert mall. Tasty hot food, salads, and pastries, hot and cold drinks and good advice from the chefs serving at the hot meals counter. The dining hall is spacious and the bay windows along the rear wall fills the place with natural light and gives it an additional dimension, connecting the space with the outdoors, and giving customers a peak on Rue de Meyrin that runs below

From a zero waste stand point, it is a great place to get mushrooms (you can bring you own bag) and few other frutis and vegetables. But he amount of plastics used, not just in this Migros, but everywhere is unimaginable (Do bananas and oranges need to be wrapped in a plastic cover - thought nature got that covered!)
