Cross Country skier Olympian from Greece.
At 27 years old, I am training to qualify for the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games next February 7 years after my first participation in Vancouver 2010.
About my programme and where I am now…
My preparation is split into two seasons. It starts every year in May with tough periods of running, cycling, roller skiing and fitness training. The snow skiing training includes the races kick off in October and finishes end of March.
I am currently using my work salary to fund my preparation and this is challenging. Preparation is essential to be ready for the qualification and collect FIS points.
