Fondato nel 1994 nel Cantone Ticino (Svizzera), il MACT/CACT Arte Contemporanea Ticino organizza mostre ed eventi d'arte contemporanea.
The CACT Centre of Contemporary Art in Canton Ticino was founded in 1994. Its target is to organize international contemporary art exhibitions and launch thematic publications. Since 1996 membership cards for friends and donors offer free entries in several Swiss Museums and Contemporary Art Centres, among them an Italian Museum in order to spread out all over the national territory the important information about Art and Culture. In 2009, the MACT Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Ticino was born, whose focus is to cooperate with deposits from private art collections.
