Lostorf is a municipality in the district of Gösgen in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland.HistoryLostorf is first mentioned around 1145-53 as de Loztorf.GeographyLostorf has an area, of 13.26km2. Of the agricultural land, 15.2% is used for growing crops and 17.7% is pastures and 4.1% is used for alpine pastures.The municipality is located in the Gösgen district, near the base of Dottenberg and Reitifluh Mountains.
