J.Hopenstand is a Swiss Brand that makes bespoke small leather goods customizable online.

Geschichte

Jacques Hopenstand opened the doors of his first workshop in 1925 in Paris. There he used to welcome his private customers, the ones who cared about details, and look for the unique products that could perfect their elegant outfits. Alligator handbags, python travelling bags, suede belts or smooth leather ones… the customers’ imagination had no limit, so did the savoir-faire of the J.Hopenstand craftsmen.

By working on the leather the same way fashion designers work on their textiles, Jacques Hopenstand quickly drew the attention of many Couture Houses. All the accessories were considered as real pieces of creation because of his mastery of noble materials, perfect cutting and meticulous assembling with no visible seam.

Once Jacques Hopenstand had worked closely with great names of couture and made the dream of clients from luxury hotels in Paris come true, he closed his workshops and stepped down to lake Leman shores in 1965.

Half a century later, his great-grandsons re-open the doors of the J.Hopenstand workshops and offer an online bespoke boutique where you can create your reversible belts and other small leather goods.

J.Hopenstand French and Swiss craftsmen are very diligent and work only with noble materials. Thus the leather goods of the Maison are high quality products, made to last.
The “Bespoke” line allows you to choose your leather, its colour, the seams and the edge. Are available at least 10 million of combining and as many details that make the belts and other small leather goods unique!
Regarding the “Our selection” range, you have access to predefined combining made of grained bull calf, a flexible and strong leather that will stand by you for years.
