So my man, he goes to a hot place
to give some hot sauce to a friend.
Hot-n-High was that sauce.
I was that friend.

So my man took a plane to a hot place place in the sun:
Go meet his friend, eat some sauce, have some fun.
But he gets off the plane and heads into town,
Sees a club with a party going down.

It’s really going down:
House music, good vibes, and beautiful women.
(That last one is key: Many, many, beautiful women.)

My man says to himself:
‘To a friend, I have an obligation,
But the thing I can never resist
is bare-breasted temptation.’

So he bounces the queue and bribes his way in,
Starts giving his hot sauce to all these women.
Tells them:
‘Dip your finger in to try,
This brand new shit that we call Hot-n-High.’

I don’t know why he did this so don’t ask me why.

Because these poor girls didn’t know no better,
Thought he was a well intentioned, innocent drug dealer –
Didn’t know they were about to try
The fiery burn of Hot-n-High.

This part’s predictable:

The tolerance for spice
Of a blue-eyed model from a land of ice,
Is often under what it takes to take,
A finger-full of Hot-n-High.

So yeah, her reaction wasn’t great.
Retching, crying, sweating,
Immediate loss of weight.
And her bodyguard was unimpressed,
To see his nordic teen
In a state of such distress.

He made his conclusion pretty quick:
‘It’s a poisoning,
from that good-looking prick.’

Now this hot country, you see, had a lot of guns:
The guard had one.
My man had none.

Good job my man had already run.
The moral? If you’re looking, there ain’t none,
‘cept don’t fuck with hot sauce and big guns.
