My name is Vanessa. I decided to start this group because I'd like to meet people with the passion for food, as well as introducing my new friends to the joys of food without the guilt!!
For me, a meal becomes an absolute pleasure when shared among friends and loved ones.
I was born in Lima, Peru and therefore my my background, knowledge and expertise will provide you with tips for a tasty Peruvian meal. But, its not only about Peru. Since I am also an American citizen and lived several years in New York, “The culture capital city" and the greatest "Melting Pot" in the world, I was blessed with the rich traditions of diverse and authentic ethnic foods and cultures.
While in New York, my hobbie was dinning in different restaurants, trying different kinds of international food, and learning how to cook a variety of dishes. From this experience, I believe that there are no limits when someone likes to cook. Any dish made with love results in a delicious meal! My family and friends can assure that;)
This group is all about ethnic foods, cooking, dining out as well as offering a rich cultural language experience. The hope is to also cultivate wonderful friendships.
