The foundation of Eterna Movement SA draws on a histroy of over 150 years of watchmaking company Eterna SA, a manufacture also responsible for giving rise to the company ETA. Key milestones in the history of Eterna Movement SA already include the recently developed ball-bearing-mounted "Spherodrive" Barrel design and the calibre 39 family, from which over 88 different movement versions can be produced.
