What is Reiki?

Reiki translates as universal or cosmic life force energy (rei=universal and ki=energy). It is also known as prana or chi.
The Usui-System of Reiki is a simple but very powerful technique. People often report that they sense a warm or cold tingling sensation and a very nice feeling which is quite hard to describe. One could say it is like being embraced by love.

Reiki can be beneficial for all sorts of illnesses as it activates and supports the self-healing capacities of body and mind and therefore works very well alongside medical treatments:

• To enforce self-healing and well-being
• Before and after an operation
• During chemotherapy
• Chronic pain
• Back problems
• Depression
• General lack of energy

I was trained in Switzerland as social worker and Reiki master/teacher. I worked in counseling and rehab. therapy for drug addiction. I offer treatments as well as teachings (first, second, third grade) and alpha training.
