Info Hotel Falken and Wengen Geschichte Hotel Falken is a family owned hotel, part of the distinguished Swiss Historic Hotels offering you an unforgettable stay in the lovely village of Wengen. The Hotel Falken, located above the center of the car-free village of Wengen and a 4 minute walk from the train station, was built in 1895 and is one of the rare remaining authentic Victorian mountain hotels in the world. In the same family since its founding, very little has been altered, and even though the amenities (bathrooms, kitchen, etc..) and the security (fire & smoke detection systems, etc..) are modern, the hotel still looks and feels as it did over 100 years ago. The hotel offers a very pleasant piano room, a spacious and cosy lobby with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere bringing clients back year after year. The hotel grounds border the ski slopes, and beautiful year-round walks around the Jungfrau Region begin in our front yard.
