Geschichte
Le SwissTech Convention Center se démarque grâce à ses aménagements innovants et à sa capacité d’accueil flexible. L’architecture autorise la fusion de deux, voire de trois salles en une seule ; elle autorise aussi une variabilité du nombre de sièges qui, pour une même salle, peut passer du simple au double.

Cette modularité repose sur deux dispositifs : d’une part, un système de parois coulissantes, d’autre part, la technologie Gala.

Situé au cœur de l'EPFL le STCC est bâti sur un campus de plus de 24 000 étudiants. L'EPFL regroupe aussi des laboratoires, des multinationales et des dizaines de start-ups et  rassemblent les forces vives de la région dans les domaines scientifiques, culturels et économiques. 
"The SwissTech Convention Center is one of the largest conference centers in the Lake Geneva region hosting events of international fame. This majestic building is distinguished by its modernity, its innovative technologies and a warm and experienced team. We are here to welcome your events and support you throughout the event. The SwissTech Convention Center distinguishes itself from other major congress centers by its number of conference rooms and its adaptable capacity. The architecture of the building allows three auditoriums to become one; the number of seats in each auditorium can also be changed in just a few minutes. This modularity is based on two mechanisms: a system of sliding walls, and the Gala Venue technology."
