Volketswil is a municipality in the district of Uster in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland.GeographyVolketswil has an area of 14km2. Of this area, 42.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 24.6% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 32.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.8%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains). housing and buildings made up 22.4% of the total area, while transportation infrastructure made up the rest (9.9%).
