Dada Smile Cloud; A mixed media smile collage. Utilizing several artistic disciplines that find their roots in Dada, the installation will come to life slowly, over the next year. Through collage techniques, 2 dimensional art, will be combined in a 3 dimensional way, creating a hanging sculptural mobile, complete with sound and movement that involves public participation to make the smiles dance. WORLD WIDE WEB SMILE CLOUD 2016; CYBERSPACE & HÖRI, SWITZERLAND Jan – Current (Completion Dec 2016) Experimental Installation, Temporary; Celebrating Smile from 2016; A mixed media smile collage. Is it pure narcissism or something else? What do you do with your Selfies? Something, nothing? What is more important, the Selfie or the act of trying to get a good Selfie? She said, “There is no turning back.” Part II; Dec 2015 – Current. Taking the next steps from the 2015 original, She said, “There is no turning back.” 2015 Original; She said, “There is no turning back.” Jan – Oct. In, She said, “There is no turning back.” 2015 work, I have layered 3 images on top of each other so that the mixed media and mixed styles come together, to create one image. Using prehistoric art styles found in cave and rock art, to modern graffiti art, the work comes together. In this “Everything Art”, I have combined the Big Bang Theory and the Bible Creation Story, to take you, the viewer, on a journey through time and discover how we got here… “Here” being a society fascinated with looking at itself through the Selfie. ------------------------------------------------------------ KALEIDOSCOPE DIGITAL WORKS: Hypnotic, meditative and contemplative.
