Info We are the Human Rights Office representing the Istituto Internazionale Maria Ausiliatrice (IIMA) at the United Nations. Geschichte IIMA is the international association of the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, who are dedicated to the full-time service of young people. Present in 95 countries worldwide, IIMA is committed to promoting and respecting human rights and especially the right to education of those belonging to the most vulnerable groups, such as: indigenous groups, street children, children at risk, children of migrant parents, children victims of discrimination based on all grounds, including cultural factors and traditional beliefs (e.g. children accused of witchcraft). In 2007 IIMA opened the Human Rights Office in Geneva to work more closely with the United Nations. In carrying out many of its activities, IIMA collaborates with VIDES International .
