Info SWOARD snowboards, from the founders of extremecarving. Geschichte SWOARD is a small Swiss brand since winter 2002-2003, but with a big reputation in the snowboard community. They have developed from 1995 to 2001 what they called "extremecarving", a ride technique which has become a discipline by itself. It is about making amazing turns based on fluidity and gesture purity. SWOARD has started other trends about wider alpine boards, modified softer boots, lower bindings angles, flat bindings, etc. They also put their know-how in the soft boots snowboards they are producing for off-piste and on-piste riding.
