Dietlikon is a municipality in the district of Bülach in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (German: Glattal).HistoryDietlikon is first mentioned in 1124 as Dietlinchoven.GeographyDietlikon has an area of 4.2km2. Of this area, 23.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while 31.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 44.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.2%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).The municipality is located on the edge of the middle Glatt Valley.DemographicsDietlikon has a population of., 21.8% of the population was made up of foreign nationals.
