I had the best time of my life here in 2002 just after high school while I was backpacking around Europe!! Can’t recommend it enough! They picked me up at the bottom of the mountain and drove me to the top. I spent the first night getting to know everyone while we sat at the fire pit outside and watched the moon rise and set over the Swiss alps! The lodgings were cheap and wonderful. The hosts were so nice and helpful. There was always something to do. I hiked the nearby mountain with a bunch of others. I went down to the spa at the base of the mountain. I walked to the next town and bought food and had a massive cookout with nearly 20 people who all cooked something!! Such a great time! I went to the Swiss Art festival, can’t remember it’s name though. The kitchen was huge and it was well run (you make a mess you clean it) was the motto for basically everything. I showed up for one night, stayed for over a week. There was even a family that decided to stay for a month there! Amazing place!

Incrível hostel com pessoas do mundo todo. Os proprietários são bem atenciosos e bem prestativo. A Villa de Gryon realmente é um refúgio nos Alpes Suíços com uma vista incrível e um silêncio que lhe trás paz.

Fantastic hostel. Amazingly run by the nicest people. I wouldn't normally stay at hostels but this place changed how I think about them!. Personal thanks to merlin for helping sort out all our ski gear and great deals for lessons and dinner spots

Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful manager and staff. Clean, comfortable and right in the middle of excellent skiing, sledging and snowboarding. Want to come back in the summer months to check out the walking

Amazing place to stay with an easy distance to many slopes, with amazing people. Would love to come and stay again!
