Geschichte

Chalet " Le Cairn " is a newly refurbished chalet, located in the Swiss Alps not far from Lake Geneva. The chalet has stunning views and is within walking distance to everything you need on a vacation in the mountains:

- Ski slope ends 200 m from the chalet
- 400 m to the gondola ski-lift
- 200 m from local train station, tourist information, bakery, small supermarket, ski rental, restaurant and super playground

Villars-Gryon is located on a sunny plateau just above the Rhone Valley. It is a relaxed ski resort offering great terrain and a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. It offers a peaceful base, with modern facilities and magnificent scenery for a summer as well as a winter holiday.

Villars-Gryon is one of the best resorts in the Alps for families with its many children’s facilities and activities. That means that the nights are fairly quiet despite some good restaurants and bars as well as a couple of clubs.

Winter season:

- 220 km of slopes (of all difficulty levels)
- Snow parks for children, where it is ideal and safe to start the "ski life" from
- Children up to 9 years benefit from free lift passes in the area

Summer period:

- Countless activities including wonderful hiking and mountain biking trails
- 18-hole golf course with magnificent views
- With the rent of the chalet, you will get a free Access Card giving you free access to the mountain lifts, local buses and trains, as well as tennis courts, swimming pools and mini golf
- Other activities include horse riding, paragliding, hang gliding etc.
- Gondola lift, tennis courts and mini golf are located just 5-10 minutes walk from the chalet
