Gruezi voll! Welcome to Chalet Bergheim - we are delighted to share our mountain home with you.

For many years we have dreamed of finding a secluded, tranquil place in the mountains which still enables easy access to enjoy year-round activities. Chalet Bergheim does exactly that. Built in 1933 in traditional swiss walliser style, yet with the modern and luxurious touches needed for a comfortable mountain retreat, our chalet is the perfect place to escape to the mountains. Nestled in the tree line at 1750m and overlooking the rooftops of Zermatt, the chalet is directly on the sunegga ski-piste giving access to the 450 kilometers of pistes offered by the best known resort in Switzerland. Ski hard all day, grab a glass of red wine and sit in front of the open fire or enjoy the evening sunshine taking in the majestic views of the Matterhorn, that for us is the perfect day. If like us, you are in love with the mountains and you value stunning natural surroundings, your own space, and a host of amazing adventures on your doorstep then you will also fall in love with this place.

Renovated in 2013, the chalet has all of the features you would expect in a modern mountain chalet. The chalet sleeps 6 adults comfortably in 3 double bedrooms. There is also a separate childs bedroom and additional beds which can bring the total number of beds to 11.

- 1 Master suite with large 4 poster bed, a private balcony overlooking the matterhorn, and an in-room bath-tub for romantic evenings
- 1 Double or twin bedroom with lounge area and views down the valley (additional double bed available)
- 1 Double or twin bedroom on the ground floor with views down the valley
- 1 small childs bedroom adjacent to master suite
- 2 modern bathrooms with shower
- Separate kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave and oven/grill.
- Lounge and dining area with beautiful vintage leather sofas, inbuilt chalet style dining corner and modern home entertainment systems (sofabed for additional two beds)
- Large terrace for lounging in the sun with stunning views over the matterhorn
- Garden with BBQ and a hottub for relaxing after a hard day

The chalet is located above the village of Zermatt:
- Direct on the ski-piste from Sunegga
- 30min walk from the centre of Zermatt
- On the sunny side of the valley
- Nearby restaurants
- Surrounded by nature with very few neighbours
- 400m from the nearest road access point in Winter (access by cleared footpath)
