Geschichte

Chalet Balthazar is just 100 metres from the main ski access/mountain train and moments from the shops, bars and restaurants of Villars village centre so getting around couldn’t be easier. Villars is an exclusive, family orientated, dual season Swiss mountain resort about 75 minutes from Geneva by car with a regular train service direct to Geneva airport. It’s also a great base from which to explore the towns, cities, lakes and castles of Switzerland.

Chalet Balthazar masterfully blends comfort and luxury with a ‘home from home’ feel. Whether it’s the prospect of sleeping on enormous high quality beds with crisp linen, relaxing in front of open fires, enjoying the fantastic views from large balconies or staying entertained with PS3, Wii, Sky+, iPod docks and free wifi, our clients consistently give us rave reviews on “Tripadvisor”.

Perfekter Aufenthalt, sauberes Chalet +++, ideal im Herzen des Dorfes und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten gelegen. Das Chalet ist sehr gut ausgestattet Wohnung und Gemeinschaftsräume. Schöne Überraschung mit einem unserer Meinung nach gefüllten kleinen Korb, nette Aufmerksamkeit des Besitzers. Wir werden mit großer Freude zurückkehren. Original Nous avons séjourné une semaine au Chalet Balthazar avec nos deux enfants. Séjour parfait, chalet propre +++, idéalement situé au cœur du village et de toutes les commodités. Le chalet est très bien équipé appartement et parties communes. Belle surprise d’un petit panier garni à notre avis, belle attention du propriétaire. Nous y retournerons avec un grand plaisir.

In unserer Wohnung gab es eine Auswahl an englischen, französischen und russischen Büchern - klassisch und modern. Die Wohnung im Untergeschoss war sehr hell, da die Sonne fast den ganzen Tag schien. Das Bett aus Paris mitgebracht, wie uns die Besitzer sagten war sehr bequem. Insgesamt war es eine tolle Erfahrung und ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Original We stayed for a month and a half at the flat N 1 in the chalet Balthazar and really enjoyed it. It was easy to book and pleasant to stay. We really like that the owners were reachable through the whatsapp group that they created for our stay in the flat. Each flat is furnished individually with beautiful pieces of interior - illustrations, print on canvas, and other artefacts. In our flat, there was a selection of the English, French and Russian books - classical and modern. The flat though being on the lower ground floor was very bright due to the sun shining in most of the day. The bed brought from Paris as we were told by the owners was very comfortable. Overall it was a great experience and a wonderful stay.

Original Chalet Balthazar is beautifully located in the center of Villars: oppositie: the local train station and next to the small cosy marketplace, where you also find entertainment in high seasons. We stayed 2 weeks on the second floor, nr4 and can recommend it highly. It is nicely decorated and comfortable, with 3 large bedrooms of which the master bedroom with a nice bathroom. The private parking lot in the back is a very convenient feature. Meeting the owners made it extra nice and personal.

Die zusätzliche Person muss durch das Hauptschlafzimmer gehen, um ins Badezimmer zu gelangen, was nicht immer praktisch ist. Die andere Souterrainwohnung ist für 3 Personen besser aufgeteilt. Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität und die Wohnung war zu einem sehr hohen Standard ausgestattet. Original Lovely apartment in a great position close to the train which takes you up to main ski area. There is also a bus beside the train station which goes to the Gondola.close to a great bakery, supermarket and restaurants. It is a basement apartment, so no view but as we skied all day this wasn’t a problem. We were 3 people so our son slept in sofa bed in main room. It took up a lot of the communal space. The main bedroom was very comfortable and had an excellent ensuite bathroom. I think the layout is ideal for 2 people. The extra person has to go through the main bedroom to access bathroom which is not always convenient. The other basement apartment is a better layout for 3 people. All the linen and towels were excellent quality and the apartment was equipped to a very high standard.
