In the heart of the Swiss Alps, just 90 minutes drive from Zurich airport, Casa Ariana offers luxurious accommodations at one of the finest ski resorts in Europe.

These fantastic, newly renovated, modern, and spacious appartments are located in a good and quiet location in Flims Dorf. The rooms are available for rent for a minimum stay of one week. The apartment is fully equipped and offers all the amenities you need for a pleasant and peaceful holiday in the mountains.

Built as a duplex, you can see the complete unit comprising 200m2 on 2 floors and is equipped with up to 11 beds for rent. Casa Ariana 1 is built to accommodate up to 5 people, Casa Ariana 2 is built to accomodate up to 6 people.

The apartment has plenty of outdoor parking and a garage (optional).

Getting around

The apartments are located 50 meters from a bus stop (3-5 minutes drive to the lifts) and about 15 minutes walk to the lifts. The local supermarkets (Denner & Co-op) are a 6-10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Winter Information - Winter Sports

Flims Laax Falera
The Alpine Arena, combining three different resorts into one ski and snowboard area, is one of the largest and most comprehensive winter resorts of the Alps.
The Arena attracts skiers and snowboarders to the largest and most comprehensive ski resort of the Grisons. A total of 220 kilometers of slopes are at your disposal, at all levels of difficulty and located at altitudes of (phone number hidden) meters above sea level. Our longest downhill run is 14 kilometers long. Most of the slopes and the 29 lift facilities are situated at a snow-guaranteed altitude of over 1,800 meters above sea level. The Vorab Glacier attracts a lot of snow and sun-loving guests to the first powder snow of the season.
Besides skiing and snowboarding, almost every other kind of winter sport can be carried out in the Alpine Arena. So whatever it is that you are looking for - active participation or peaceful relaxation - you can choose from over two-dozen recreational activities in the Alpine Arena. For example: alpine skiing, carving, cross-country skiing, curling, sledding, hang-gliding or winter hiking are all on offer.

Summer Information - Summer Recreation

In the summer season, hiking, mountain climbing and swimming in one of the many mountain lakes or in the "adventure-pool", are very popular with our guests.

The area offers a variety of adventure sports that can be carried out almost all year round. The activities include: hang-gliding, hot-air-ballooning over breathtaking scenery, river rafting, canoeing, mountain and downhill biking, indoor-climbing, skateboard halfpipe, in-line skating, frisbee golf and camping. We offer something for everyone - challenge, excitement and body-consciousness.

Family
Flims is a holiday region for the whole family. While dad is racing downhill with the mountain bike, the kids are enjoying themselves in the petting zoo or on one of the many playgrounds. The numerous barbecue areas on the hiking routes suitable for children make the family day out just perfect. Of course you can also enjoy a meal in one of the family-friendly scenic restaurants. And: the breathtaking bathing lakes are always an attraction for big and small alike.

Buna Vista Golf Sagogn
Set at the same altitude as Sagogn and Schluein, 700 m above sea level, on a plateau overlooking the inlet of the Anterior Rhine, the Ruinaulta, holes 1 to 9 and 10 to 13, the driving range and the practice holes were opened in summer 2008. The sun-drenched golf course is nestled in a beautiful rural setting, designed to be very true to its natural surroundings, with a wonderful view over the mountains of Surselva. The challenges posed by the course include water obstacles, treacherous grassy bunkers, raised tees which are topographically unspoilt, the length of the holes and some sandy bunkers

River Rafting
The impressive Rhine Gorge between Illanz and Reichenau presents the perfect scenery for a wet and wonderful adventure. Up to nine participants can board one of the sturdy rubber boats. Together with an experienced guide, the group decides the pace. In quiet passages you will be taken to another world by the unusual rock formations of the gorge. The rapids water spray and waves will ensure a fun and exciting adventure

Hiking
With 250 km of signposted hiking trails over the mountains, across the gorges and through the forests, the region really is a paradise for nature lovers. Inquisitive hikers can be seen walking along the themed trails against the imposing mountain backdrop, and foodies can choose one of three culinary trails, which allow you to dine as you savour the natural wonders of the area. The historic Pinut via ferrata is enticing as a particular challenge. And finally, the Cauma, Cresta and Laax mountain lakes are a great place to cool down.

Biking
The varied countryside around Flims makes it the ideal destination to explore by bike, offering everything from leisurely tours to all the thrills and spills of free-ride biking. 330 km of mountain biking routes, specialist hotel and tour offers and practical services make the region a popular destination for cyclists. And if you want to enjoy Flims' natural surroundings with a difference, why not try the Flyer electric bikes. They allow you to scale the steeps climbs and enjoy the fabulous view without much effort.
