Barbara draws clarity and creativity from her personal yoga practice and strives to bring these qualities to her students. She has explored the physical practices of yoga since the early 2000’s and completed her yoga teacher training at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Costa Rica in the summer of 2017. Over the last five years Barbara has focused on spiritual aspects and ayurvedic principles associated with yoga as a means to deepen her practice and find more balance in life.
Maintaining an active outdoor lifestyle, Barbara creates classes that are physically challenging and complement other “big muscle sports” like hiking, biking, and skiing. She recognize that each body has unique geometry and mechanics and offers modifications and physical adjustments to her students so they feel their best throughout class.
