Alle is a municipality in the district of Porrentruy of the canton of Jura in Switzerland.HistoryAlle is first mentioned in 1136 as Alla. The municipality was formerly known by its German name Hall, however, that name is no longer used.GeographyAlle has an area of. Of this area, 6.81km2 or 64.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 2.36km2 or 22.3% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 1.37km2 or 12.9% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.08km2 or 0.8% is either rivers or lakes and 0.01km2 or 0.1% is unproductive land.Of the built up area, industrial buildings made up 1.1% of the total area while housing and buildings made up 6.8% and transportation infrastructure made up 4.3%. Out of the forested land, 21.0% of the total land area is heavily forested and 1.2% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 50.0% is used for growing crops and 13.6% is pastures. All the water in the municipality is flowing water.The municipality is located in the Porrentruy district, along the Allaine and Cornolbach rivers.
