ensuring the UNSC is democratic, accountable, efficient, effective, united and above all, capable of protecting with impartiality the interest of everyone
African Parliamentary Alliance for UN Reforms (APAUNR) is an international organisation of predominantly African incumbent and former Members of Parliament spearheading Parliamentary advocacy for United Nations (UN) reforms in favour of Africa. The founding Charter of APAUNR was signed on 4th August 2016 on the side-lines of the Sittings of the Permanent Committees of the Pan African Parliament in Johannesburg - South Africa, with ultimate objective to give an unmatched Parliamentary impetus to the work of the Committee of Ten Heads of State (C-10), which was created by the African Union (AU) with mandate to advocate and canvass the Common African position on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reforms, as enunciated by the Ezulwini Consensus and the Sirte Declaration.
